Mariah Vincent

Girls 14-1 Head Coach

As an athlete, Mariah played middle blocker for West Campus High School, and in her club career played two years at Sac Sideout, and finished at Gold Cal. Mariah continued to play at California State University Chico while obtaining her BS in nutrition.

Coaching came as second nature to Mariah, starting in Chico at CARD- Chico Area Recreation and Parks District. She also coaches for both West Campus Freshmen girls and JV boys team. For Legends, Mariah coaches the 16-2 boys and 14-1 girls teams. When asked why she chose Legends, Mariah responded, "The coaching staff and athletes really are an extended family. The vibe and energy are positive and I like that every coach is a part of your team"

Mariah describes her coaching philosophy as follows: Not only are we teaching the players the fundamentals of volleyball and providing them with the skills needed to help achieve their full potential but we are also helping them develop qualities such as teamwork and leadership that will further advance them in everyday life.

A memorable coaching quote from Mariah, "Be ready so you don't have to get ready"'
