Richard Faraimo

Rick has been coaching high school volleyball for 8 years, both girls and boys. As the Men’s Head Coach at Grant High School, he lead his team to 6 consecutive playoff appearances, 5 consecutive league championships, while staying undefeated in league each year. He has also produced 3 All-League MVP’s and been named Delta Valley Conferences Coach of the Year 3 seasons in a row.


He is in his fourth season as the Girl’s Head Coach at Inderkum High School and focuses on the total game, developing each skill to help athletes grow into the total package. As an athlete, Rick played club volleyball for Sac Side Out 16-1s and NCVC 18-1s. His team qualified for the Junior Olympics where he was awarded the All-Tournament Team selection. He played varsity volleyball for four years at Rio Linda High School, 4 year captain, 3 time MVP, 3 time All-league selection and participated in the Optimist games as well as made the All-City Team in 2008.
